Reviews so far:
"Great first novel. Unexpected twists kept the tension going. I was expecting a more blood-and-guts story but in fact, the subject matter worked surprisingly well."
"I was on edge the entire time. Great read! I didn't want it to end at all wishing there was at least 1 more chapter."
"Well written thriller with protagonists I could immediately like. Well written, quick read. I loved the book, in spite of subject matter. I have dogs, and wow I could imagine! Recommended."
A little more about The Controller.
This is the first book , a short book, in the Detective Amanda Lacey series and sees her investigating a crime of dogs going missing and ransom demands. Together with the help of a local businesswoman and an online noticeboard, they crack the case. But that’s not the only thing that happens as the two find they click together in more ways than one.
